Something wicked this way comes

Dress: In Roads, vintage;
Scarf: H&M;
Boots: Target.
How I've worn the dress before: here and here.

October's finally here, and I'm so excited. I've been waiting for this month all year. Something about the crisp air, dead leaves, chilly nights -- it just seems full of promise. I may end up titling all my posts after Halloween and autumn-related songs and phrases, just you wait.

I tried a new photo spot today by going to this little bridge pathway deep into the woods. I'll have to shoot more there once I figure out the lighting. It's very quiet and dark and more than a little eerie. The animals also seem more relaxed and are often out in the open in the mornings. Since I've been taking photos at the park, I've seen turtle families in the lake, some swans and ducks and an egret. There's also a creek and a swamp, and I am hoping I'll spot the egret again. It's become my elusive unicorn.

 Jeremiah and I are going to a farm to see some pumpkins this Sunday. What are your weekend plans?
